Today’s Card Draw is the Reversed Nine of Beetles (Pentacles)

Stands for abundance, enjoyment, benefiting from success, accomplishment

Reversed can mean deceit, arguments, bad faith, protect your money & property

Reversed doesn’t mean that you are not successful, but you could be dealing with an antagonist that wants to argue about domestic arrangements and/or finances.

If single this could be a friend or family member who feels that they need to control what you spend your money on. They could be having financial issues of their own and want to control yours because they can’t control theirs.

If you are frivolously spending your money that could cause you problems down the road then be open minded and don’t go on the defensive when they say something. Then let the know that you understand their concern and move on.

If they feel they need to continue to make comments about your finances, and you haven’t asked for them, then let them know firmly that it is your money and their opinions are not wanted. If they won’t stop then maybe some distance is needed.

In a relationship finances can definitely be the spark to ignite an argument. Make sure that you and your partner have an understanding of how the household bills are paid, and if you are going to pool your finances, or keep them separate. If one makes more than the other, realize that there will probably be times that you may pay more than the other. As long as the two of you agree. If you no longer agree don’t wait until there is an emotional financial crisis going on in the household to talk about it. It is an uncomfortable conversation but one that you need to have, without letting it get emotional and turn it into an argument.
