Strength is one of the virtue cards, and represents tension between our base instincts (the lion) and our higher selves (the roses). Our willingness to face fears, our strong wills, awareness of subconscious urges and purpose, courage and loving strength. Represented by the infinity symbol, the lion head that is tamed by being mounted but can still strike fear and roses that are beautiful, calming but can still hurt you if not handled correctly.

When dealing with a difficult situation, like health issues, a difficult co-worker, misunderstanding with a friend or lover, do not use confrontation or force as that will only exasperate the issues. Use compassion and understanding to start a discussion, and stop an argument.
